In collaboration with Leah Birnbaum Consulting, the Dept co-designed and led a national engagement strategy to assess proposed changes to Imagine Canada's Standards Program.

In 2019, the Dept of Words & Deeds and Leah Birnbaum Consulting were retained by Imagine Canada. The organization, which accredits Canadian charities and nonprofits through their Standards Program, was interested in gathering feedback from organizations in the charitable sector on proposed changes to the standards. Working collaboratively with Imagine Canada staff, Jane and Leah designed a clear and inclusive engagement process that could be effectively delivered during Imagine Canada’s 2019 Summit events across the country.
